On April 24, 2009 about 10:10PM a witness noticed strange lights in the sky that didn’t appear to be like any aircraft they had seen before. When they viewed the lights through their telescope, they couldn’t see any physical object, just flashing red, green, blue and white lights moving erratically. The witness was able to observe the object for about 15 minutes until it disappeared.
On April 23rd, 2009 at about 10:35PM six witnesses reported seeing a glowing sphere near Clifton in Cincinnati which was moving west toward Indiana. It was described as a glowing orange sphere which was moving very slowly along the horizon and never really changing altitude. The object didn’t produce any sound and continued to move in a westerly direction until the witnesses were no longer able to see it.
At around 10:15Pm on April 16, 2009 a man in Bridgeport, Ohio reported seeing a triangle shaped UFO. While looking at the night sky, he saw three white lights in a triangle formation which he described as “dim and foggy” moving quickly through the night sky. He stated in his report that he was almost positive that the three lights were all a part of the same object and it was larger, moving much faster and at a lower altitude that aircraft that he’s used to seeing.
While traveling home from a friends house on April 5, 2009 about 10:30pm, a family of five saw three glowing balls of light moving slowly in the sky. The objects didn’t produce any sound as they ascended and eventually disappeared into the night sky.
At about 11:00pm on April 1st, 2009 two witnesses saw a UFO over Painesville, Ohio. The two were out on a clear night when one of them noticed a bright light moving in their peripheral vision. The light was described as being bright enough to illuminate the ground as one of them initally thought someone was walking with a flashlight. On closer inspection, they saw a bright sphere of light surrounded by smaller red and blue twinkling lights perform a circular manuvor in the sky which covered an “impossible distance” in just a couple seconds. The two watched the object for approximately a half hour as it performed other manovers such as turning at sharp angels and traveling in all directions. The object covered large distances and sometimes came to an abrupt stop then accelerated again quickly.
A witness reported seeing a disk shaped object near Middletown, Ohio on March 28, 2009 about 3:00am. The witness was looking out of their window and noticed unusual lights in the sky. The lights appeared to be red and green rotating horizontally around the object (the lights were described as being similiar to “chaser lights.”) The object decended behind a hill and was not seen again.
A witness reported that while driving to work at 6:30AM on March 20, 2009 they noticed what appeared to be an object with extremely bright blue and white strobe lights. The object was also reported to fly very close to Hopkins Airport, which would be unusual without communicating with air traffic control. The witness stated that they were in the air wing in the Marine Corps and were very familiar with the configuration of aircraft lights and this didn’t appear to be anything they had seen before.
While looking at the night sky on March 15, 2009 in Cincinnati Ohio a witness reported seeing a blue and grey light following a small jet aircraft. According to the observer, the light wasn’t visible to the naked eye and was only seen when they looked through binoculars to get a better view of the airplane. The light appeared to be much higer than the jet but seemed to match the jets speed exactly, never loosing or gaining any distance. The light remained with the aircraft until they both flew out of view.
I haven’t been able to update the site over the past couple of weeks as I would have liked, but the UFOs haven’t been taking any time off. Here are eight new UFO sightings that have been reported in Ohio.

Salem, Ohio
A women in Salem, Ohio reported that a round craft followed her car on her way home then hovered over her house. She described the UFO as round with “nodules” along the outside. After taping the object for about five minutes the woman reported that the craft turned and “faded away.”

Columbus, Ohio
A women reported seeing two white objects glowing the the southwestern sky. The objects remained stationary until they suddenly switched positions and became brighter. The witness felt that they became brighter because they moved lower although she never mentioned the objects appearing larger.

Columbus, Ohio
A person in Columbus reported seeing what appeared to be an unusually bright star in the western sky. When the witness looked at the object through binoculars they said the object appeared to be a glowing white triangle. The object moved slowly west until it disappeared after about fifteen minutes.

Union City, Ohio
A witness spotted an orb in the western sky above Union City, Ohio. The orb was described as pulsing from white to red while changing in size from large to small. The object was observed floating silently about 10 degrees over the horizon. The object then appeared to cave in on itself and disappear.

Akron, Ohio
Two witnesses saw three lights in the sky that they initially believed to be airplanes. After watching for a few seconds both witnesses saw one of the objects freeze and the other two objects accelerate toward each other then reverse and go in the opposite direction. The objects remained in the sky for a few minutes this disappeared.

A witness reported seeing a large white object in the sky that remained for about an hour and moved only slightly. The witness took some digital photographs and upon viewing the images could see that the large object was really two smaller objects.

A witness in Dayton reported a large object “as large as an apartment building” that flew silently over her residence. The object was reported has having five white lights and one red light.

Cleveland, Ohio
Several “egg shaped” white lights were reported circling a cloud about 8:40PM in Cleveland, Ohio.
A diamond shape UFO was reported on February 17th, 2009 at about 1:00AM in the Columus / New Albany, Ohio region. The witness said the diamond shaped craft had one blinking white light, one blinking red light and five stead white lights positioned in a straight line. The craft was reported to stop and hover at times.
